Description
Opened in June 2012, the Claire Thaw Theater is Lincoln Center’s newest venue. It is home to LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater’s programming initiative to support emerging artists and build new audiences. Designed by architect Hugh Hardy, the Claire Thaw Theater is the centerpiece of a two-story, 23,000-square-foot addition built on the roof of the Vivian Beaumont Theater. Featuring a theater, rehearsal space, office space, support areas, and a spacious lobby that opens onto an outdoor terrace surrounded by a green roof, the venue offers stunning views of the rejuvenated Lincoln Center plaza.
The theater is named for Claire Thaw, the wife of longtime LCT board member Leonard Thaw. The schedule and playbill can be found on our website. You can also buy tickets through our resource.
