Bridgestone Arena

Description

Located in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, Bridgestone Arena has been in operation since 1996 and is a multi-purpose venue that can accommodate up to 19,891 concertgoers, 19,395 basketball players, and 17,159 hockey players. The arena can also be converted into a theater space with a capacity of 5,145 seats.

Designed by the architectural and engineering firm Populous (formerly HOK Sport) in partnership with Hart Freeland Roberts, Inc., Bridgestone Arena reflects Nashville's historic heritage by sitting at an angle at the intersection of Broadway and 5th Avenue in homage to the historic Ryman Auditorium, the original home of the Grand Ole Opry.

The arena is owned by the Nashville & Davidson County Sports Authority and managed by Powers Management Company, a subsidiary of the Nashville Predators hockey club, which has been the primary tenant since 1998.

Bridgestone Arena has earned industry recognition, having been nominated for the Pollstar Concert Industry Venue of the Year award. in 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2007.
