State Farm Arena, formerly known as Phillips Arena, is a modern sports complex in Atlanta, Georgia, opened in 1999. Since its opening, the arena has become an important center for sporting and cultural events, seating approximately 19,000 spectators. In 2018, the naming rights were acquired by State Farm Insurance.
State Farm Arena serves as the home of the Atlanta Hawks (NBA) and the Atlanta Dream (WNBA). In addition to sporting events, the arena regularly hosts concerts by world-famous artists such as U2, The Rolling Stones, Metallica, Green Day, Elton John, Madonna, Britney Spears, and Paul McCartney. It also hosts major events, including WWE shows.
