TD Garden is a premier sports arena in Boston, known for its rich heritage and modern amenities. Named after sponsor TD Bank, N.A., the arena is often referred to simply as "the Garden" or "Boston Garden." It has gone through several name changes since its opening before receiving its current name in 2009.
TD Garden serves as the home arena for the NHL's Boston Bruins, the NBA's Boston Celtics, and the National Lacrosse League's Boston Blazers. In addition to hosting regular NHL and NBA games, the arena has hosted major sporting events such as the 2001 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, the 1996 and 2000 U.S. Gymnastics Championships, the 1996 NHL All-Star Game, and the 2008, 2022, and 2024 NBA Finals.
TD Garden is also a popular venue for WWE shows, including such iconic events as WrestleMania XIV in 1998, King of the Ring 2000, Royal Rumble 2003, SummerSlam 2006, Survivor Series 2008, and Royal Rumble 2011.
