Climate Pledge Arena is a modern multi-purpose sports venue located in downtown Seattle, Washington, within the Seattle Center entertainment complex. Since 2018, construction has begun on the site of the old arena, tentatively called the Seattle Center Arena, with the goal of creating a modern sports facility for the new NHL club, the Seattle Kraken, which began playing in the 2021–22 season. In addition, the arena is the home court for the Seattle Storm women's basketball team. of the Women's National Basketball Association and the Seattle University Redhawks of the NCAA.
In 2020, Amazon acquired the naming rights to the arena and named it Climate Pledge Arena as part of its commitment to reduce its carbon footprint to net zero by 2040. Since then, the arena has become a symbol of environmental responsibility and sustainability.
