The Palace Of Fine Arts

Description

The Palace of Fine Arts is a landmark building located in the Marina District of San Francisco, California. Originally built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition, it is one of the few remaining structures from that era.

The building was rebuilt in 1967 using more durable materials and served as home to the Exploratorium Science Museum until 2013. In 2010, a major restoration was completed to restore and strengthen the building and its surrounding park after the 1989 earthquake.

Designed by architect Bernard Ralph Maybeck, the Palace of Fine Arts continues to attract visitors with its art exhibits and architectural beauty. The schedule of events and posters can be found on our website. You can also buy tickets through our resource.
