Maxim Aleksandrovich Galkin is an outstanding Russian and Israeli pop artist, parodist, comedian, showman, stand-up comedian, actor and TV presenter. His multifaceted talent and bright charisma made him one of the most recognizable and beloved artists in the post-Soviet space. Galkin began his career in school plays, where he already showed an amazing ability to transform into various characters. In his youth, he was actively involved in parody, which became his calling card and brought him national recognition.
His artistic debut took place in 1994 in the performance of the Moscow State University Student Theater “Fountains of Love for Neighbors.” Already in 2000, he first appeared on television as the host of a documentary film for the 55th anniversary of Gennady Khazanov. Since then, his television career has taken off: he hosted popular shows on Channel One and Rossiya-1, including “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”, “Star Ice” and “Dancing with the Stars.”
Maxim Galkin is also a winner of the TEFI Award in the category “Host of an Entertainment Program” for the children’s talent show “Best of All!” in 2017. In 2020, he launched his YouTube channel Maxim Galkin Life, where he shares stories from his life and the lives of his children, which allows his fans to be closer to their idol.
